Claimed certifications for viral protection, N95, N99, FFP2 and EU CE may be fake and/or non-existent.
After seeing Cambridge Mask written about in several reputable news sources, including the BBC and the New York Times, I pre-ordered a Churchill Pro mask.
This mask is claimed to meet N99 certifications by independent lab testing, although not NIOSH certified because NIOSH does not certify reusable masks with that specific certification.
It is claimed to meet EN149 standards (even in some of the responses on Trust Pilot) through both SAI International and Apave Labs FR.
It is also claimed to filter out 99.6% of viruses and 99.7% of bacteria, as verified by Nelson Labs USA.
Despite most vendors offering copies of their certificates on their website, Cambridge Mask does not.
I attempted to look them up on the certifying bodies, however Cambridge Mask was not listed on any of the named certifying bodies that I could find. Many of these bodies include certification lookup and verification to prevent fraudulent use of their certificates.
After doing a bit more research, I found the company name under the website's T&C page - Cambridge Environmental Solutions Co. Using this new name, and several variants of it, I tried again - no hits. Finally, after reading another Trust Pilot review, I searched for Xiamen Lixia Medical Technology Co Ltd - the company listed in a complaint below, which is acknowledged to be the manufacturer of the product in a response from Cambridge Mask Co below. Again, nothing, no hits.
I contacted Customer Service about my concerns and asked them to provide copies of their certificates. They declined to provide the only possible source of verification, citing company policy.
So: you, the person purchasing this mask for an incredibly large sum, waiting several months for shipment, under the auspice that this mask will protect you, your co-workers and your loved ones by offering medical-grade protection, are supposed to believe that this company, which refuses to provide verification of their claims, will send you a mask that meets these standards, without being willing to provide evidence that they will protect you.
If you still would like to purchase their mask, I have a bridge I would like to sell you.
Unfortunately, it appears that this company not only does not deserve your money or trust, but that they may be actively harming people who believe they are protected and are then putting themselves and others at risk. I will be contacting the news sources that reported on Cambridge Mask Co, asking for a correction or removal of all of their articles.
I will happily amend this review if a representative of Cambridge Mask is able to lay these concerns to rest; however, if they are not, I will continue to post them on various other platforms due to concerns for the health and well-being of anyone who wears one of these masks.

Terrible fit. The ear loops are too thick to stay on and slip off expecially if you wear glasses. I tried a different size and adjusters but it still didn't fit properly and fell off. The head band is also awkward and slips down unless I'm wearing a pony tail. I'm trying to depend less and less on Amazon and want to support smaller, innovative businesses, but I should have read the return policy. I just assumed they would be customer focused, but they don't issue refunds because I tried it on. All they offered to do was to replace the mask with another size, but I already tried that and the larger size didn't work as well - same problem with ear loops. These are very expensive masks and had I known that I could not return them for a refund I never would have ordered them. Now I'm stuck with them and will just have to modify the ear loops myself. Good thing I'm handy with needle and thread. But I will not recommend this company because they do not provide a guaranteed satisfaction policy.
I’ve two of their masks and really am pleased with them. They’re sturdy, comfortable against the skin, the nose bridge shapers works fine and the pulls to shape the jawline to the right snugness are an awesome touch.
The only negative they have for me is the placement for the pull cords of the jaw. The excess line sticks out the outer sides of the mask towards the back. If this was changed to pointing full back towards the ears or inside or any other way than sticking out a bit where it’s visible these would get a full 5 stars from me.
As is, though, they are great and I’d recommend them. I’ve certainly not hesitated to check back the site now and again to see if there is another design I ever feel like grabbing. Good masks.
I recently contacted Cambridge Mask’s Customer Care team via Live Chat on their website because my mask developed a fault. Excellent Customer Care. The level of communication from the Customer Care team was excellent. I received a replacement mask within 48 hours! Well done and thank you.
Easy to deal with, support readily available when/ if needed.
Pity one of the masks I wanted was not in stock.
Otherwise an excellent seller.
I love your mask, already bought a few... But the last one was more expensive than the others... at first I thought it was okay since we're in a pandemic, but now i've got an extra 25$ to pay if i want to receive it... it make only one mask at the final cost of 80$... They're nice yes, but not worth of 80$ for only one when i bought 3 five months ago and it costed ~130 to 150$.
I'm from Canada, i would have love to known that there would be more fees before i take it.
Also i already had to paid for shipping, since you removed the longuer shipping, who was cheaper.
I had difficulty with entering my payment details. The card/paypal section was greyed out and had to "chat" before I was told I had to refresh the screen. Then it all worked. The person I "chatted" with told me the website had some glitches so they do need to fix the website.
This mask was recommended by my chiropodist, I ordered one for myself and one for my husband on Wednesday, then read the reviews on trustpilot and doubt set in, but I have to assume that a lot of the problems listed must be due to problems caused by covid because they arrived today, so 3 days in total from ordering to receipt, no complaints here and they really are superb masks, nice adjustable fit, really comfortable and we can breath like normal whilst wearing. So anyone reading the bad reviews thinking hmmmm.... well I would suggest don’t hesitate.
